Moments later he found himself in the front room, panting as he tried to calm down enough to address his lover that was watching TV on the couch. Said pony looked up at him, looking a little concerned, “Are you okay honey? You look like you seen a ghost.”
Stitch Cover tried to spit it out, but found it difficult, “I just… I heard…”
Under cover patted a couch cushion beside him and urged him to speak, “Come on…You can tell me what is wrong. I doubt there is anything that happened I will be surprised by.”
The Unicorn took a seat beside him and was scooped up into a hug almost immediately. It took him a few more moments to speak, but he was successfully pacified by his lover’s embrace, “P-platinum and Aurora… They were. *Erhem*, doing it in the other room.”
Under cover blinked once, twice, and then three times before stating, “Okay, you got me there. Is there anything else you can tell me about the incident?”

A light blue unicorn hummed softly to herself as she placed faux webbing on the walls of her home, delicately tacking them on so they can be removed quickly should they need to as well as to prevent unnecessary clean up once Nightmare Night was over. As she went to grab the next piece of webs and place it on the wall, a set of hooves covered her eyes. Before she could protest, a familiar voice asked, “Guess who?”
She gasped in surprise as she drew away from him, shaking the hooves off her, “Platinum? What are you doing here?”
The orange unicorn grinned as he removed his helm and bowed before her, “Can’t a stallion surprise his marefriend every once in a while?”
Despite her angered expression, it was good to get a hug from the surprised mare, “where the heck have you been? I haven’t seen you in moons!”
He let out a small sigh and wrapped an arm around her comfortingly, “I’m a guard… Our work is never done it would seem.”
She shook him off once more, groaning loudly as she pointed a hoof at him in an accusatory fashion, “Still, that’s no excuse to not write me. I thought you died!”
Aurora let her hoof down and sighed, letting go of her frustration, “But if that were the case, the guard would have told me that, right?”

Being back in Ponyville was always a delight to the young unicorn. Something about the way all the ponies mingle there in harmony and sharing their talents among each other always brings a smile to his face and today was no different. The leaves were turning color and little fillies were running about playing in the cool autumn breeze as all the adults worked together to turn their homes into scary respites form the dark forces that are coming. Nightmare night was almost upon them.
He let out a soft chuckle to himself as a few children ran right past them through the busy cobblestone streets of town. It was a time where children can go door to door asking for candy and enjoy the night like it was meant to be. Well… Sort of. It is at the expense of Luna and her darker side, but she doesn’t seem to mind. In fact, she seemed to enjoy the exotic festivities that the holiday brings if he recalled correctly. While some of the tradition was lost on him, the gothic themes the holiday presented and faux cobwebs did bring out a different kind nostalgia in him. It reminded him of home in a way, as he remembered it.
It wasn’t exactly in the best of a shape the last time he was there, but the fact he was able to pay his homeland a final farewell before it was wiped off the map was nice. That was more than he could say for the others. He was all alone now and has been for a long time, save for one other pony, but he shant think of that right now. He wasn’t here to open up that can of worms, he was here to visit his marefriend that lived here.
It has been a long time since the two of them last talked, most notably the last pony prom they had planned on attending. He just hoped that she wasn’t too sore about his work calling him away at the last minute. She seemed like she really wanted to go. It pained him that their conflicting schedules did this to them, but they did know what they were getting into when they started dating. He let out a sigh, dampening his previous good mood that the holiday was putting him in. This was going to be hard…

Seriously though, what a wonderful concept and even more original execution.
Right when one thinks everything has been invented in terms of “Found Footage” movies, here comes this one and turns the whole genre inside out like a sock full of pellets. It was fun, surprisingly funny at parts, and quite fascinating too. Hans, the Troll Hunter, might as well be one of my new favorite characters. He treats everything with such mundanity, he even has paperwork! I loved him.
So yeah, if you like Found Footage movies and you’re invested in good characterization, you should definitely check out this movie.
And now, if you excuse me, I need to find a doctor. Thankfully Ace is here to help me dealing with these Trolls.
